Other things to keep in mind
The apartment is located in the historic center, which is why, if you want to get there by car, you have to go through a restricted traffic zone (ztl), which is active from Monday to Friday.
The pass for the ztl costs €5.00 per day and can be purchased at any tobacconist's, even after gaining access, by midnight of the same day.
In case you do not want to buy the pass and therefore do not get all the way to the apartment by car, you can park in another area, on the street, and walk about 5min afterwards, passing through the famous Ballarò market.
If, on the other hand, you do not have your own transportation, there is a train from the airport to the station, and the apartment is only a 9min walk from the station.
